The extension operates entirely locally within the user’s browser and does not transmit any information to external servers.
FocusTube only modifies the visual appearance of YouTube pages by hiding certain elements such as the related videos sidebar, comments, and endscreen suggestions.
The extension uses Chrome’s storage API solely to save user preferences (such as enabled or disabled features). This data remains on the user’s device and is never shared.
FocusTube does not use analytics, tracking, cookies, or any form of user monitoring.
